Tangerang, April 12, 2025 - PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Branch Office recorded proud achievements during the 1446 H Eid transportation period which lasted from March 21 to April 11, 2025. The increase in the number of passengers and aircraft movements was recorded quite high, driven by the longer Eid holiday period, thus encouraging people's mobility to travel by air. During this period, Soekarno-Hatta Airport recorded serving 3,559,461 passengers, this number increased by 7.9% compared to 2024 which recorded 3,298,574 passengers. This increase in the number of passengers shows the high flight activity during the homecoming and return flows this year, which are spread evenly almost throughout all departure and arrival terminals, both domestic and international. Along with the increase in the number of passengers, aircraft movements at Soekarno Hatta Airport also experienced growth during the Eid transportation period in 2025. A total of 23,476 aircraft movements occurred during the period, an increase of around 1.7% compared to the previous Eid transportation period. This increase reflects the operational intensity that is maintained well in the midst of high aviation activities. Operational conditions during the Eid period also went well with an On Time Performance (OTP) achievement of 73%. The extreme weather that occurred in several areas did not have a significant impact on the smooth flight at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, so that service to passengers remained optimal. General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia Soekarno Hatta International Airport Branch Office, Dwi Ananda Wicaksana, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the smooth running of this year's Eid transportation period. "We would like to thank all airport staff for their hard work, collaboration with stakeholders, and the trust of passengers so that operations at Soekarno-Hatta Airport can run safely, comfortably, and under control throughout the 2025 Eid transportation period," said Dwi Ananda. Furthermore, Dwi Ananda added that intensive coordination, implementation of service scenarios, and 24-hour monitoring through Eid transportation posts are the key to success in maintaining the smooth flow of homecoming and return flows. "We also consistently conduct daily evaluations and adjust service needs in the field to remain responsive to the dynamics that occur. And with the completion of the Eid transportation period in 2025, we officially close the operations of the Integrated Post this Saturday," Dwi Ananda concluded. Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is committed to continuing to improve the quality of airport services and operations from various aspects, in order to provide the best experience for all service users. Innovation, infrastructure improvement, and optimization of coordination between parties will continue to be the main focus in serving passenger mobility at the airport.
