Tangerang, April 15, 2025 – PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Branch Office has once again recorded a proud achievement in the international arena. As an international airport that represents Indonesia in the global arena, Soekarno-Hatta Airport won an award in the Skytrax World Airport Awards which was announced at the Passenger Terminal Expo 2025 in Madrid, Spain, on April 9, 2025.
At the prestigious Skytrax World Airport Awards, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport managed to rise to 25th position in the World's Top 100 Airports 2025 category, after previously being ranked 28th.
This increase reflects the world's appreciation for the transformation efforts carried out by Soekarno-Hatta Airport in providing the best service to service users.In addition, in the category based on the number of passengers, Soekarno-Hatta Airport is also ranked 3rd in the Best Airports 2025 by Size (50 to 60 Million Passengers), and occupies the 9th position in the Best Airports in Asia 2025 category. This achievement is clear evidence that Soekarno-Hatta Airport continues to be consistent in maintaining the quality and comfort of service by serving a very large number of passengers.
Certified 4 Star Airport Rating 2025. This achievement marks a significant increase after previously other positive achievements were shown through the success of Soekarno-Hatta Airport in achieving the status of maintaining the title of 3 Star Airport since 2013. Not only that, in terms of service, Soekarno-Hatta Airport also recorded a positive performance by winning two other important awards, namely 10th place in the Best Airport Staff in Asia 2025 category, and 10th position in the World's Best Airport Immigration Services 2025. This achievement cannot be separated from the role of officers who continue to prioritize professionalism and the spirit of serving wholeheartedly.
All of these awards are the fruit of the transformation carried out by Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in recent years. This transformation includes infrastructure development focused on improving customer experience (Premises), digitizing airport operational processes through an ecosystem-based approach (Process), improving the competence and hospitality of all personnel (People), and utilizing technology as an enabler of all aspects of airport services.
