Injourney Airports Officially Closes the 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year Integrated Post
Tangerang, January 6, 2026 – Soekarno-Hatta International Airport recorded controlled operational performance with a positive trend during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year (Nataru) Integrated Post period, which ran from December 15, 2025, to January 4, 2026.
Cumulatively, Soekarno-Hatta Airport served 3.52 million passengers, a growth of 1.3% compared to the same period in 2024. Meanwhile, aircraft movements reached 23.3 thousand flights, a 1.6% increase year-on-year, reflecting operational stability amidst high passenger mobility during the year-end holiday period.
Airport management also noted optimal flight slot utilization, with a daily achievement of 93.7% and a cumulative achievement of 89.9%. The realization of extra flights during the Nataru period reached 772 flights, or 73.1% of the total plan prepared by airlines.
Throughout 2025, the total passenger movement reached 54.95 million passengers, an increase of 0.3% compared to 2024, which recorded 54.80 million passengers. This growth reflects the consistent recovery of passenger traffic and increasing public confidence in air transportation services.
The General Manager of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Heru Karyadi, stated that the performance achievements during the 2025/2026 Nataru period were the result of synergy among all airport stakeholders.
"We are grateful that during the 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year period, operations at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport could run safely, in a controlled manner, and smoothly amidst high passenger mobility. This growth in the number of passengers and aircraft movements shows that public trust in airport services remains well-maintained," said Heru Karyadi.
