Tangerang, June 9, 2025 – The return of Indonesian hajj pilgrims for the year 1446 H/2025 M through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport will begin early Thursday morning, June 12, 2025. This phase will start with the arrival of pilgrims from Jakarta - Pondok Gede Embarkation (JKG) and Jakarta - Bekasi (JKS). In total, 51,314 pilgrims from both embarkations will arrive in stages until July 10, 2025, using Garuda Indonesia and Saudia Airlines through Terminal 2F of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Soekarno-Hatta International Airport ensures that all supporting facilities are ready for use during the return period. This includes the smoothness of the arrival process, an integrated baggage handling system, and the readiness of health services through special rooms and the support of officers from the Health Quarantine Agency (BBKK). The General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia at Soekarno Hatta International Airport Branch, Dwi Ananda Wicaksana, stated that Soekarno-Hatta Airport has prepared a number of operational steps to support the return of this year's hajj pilgrims. "We are ready to welcome the return of hajj pilgrims at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. As with the departure phase, we have made preparations from the beginning to ensure a smooth return process for the pilgrims, starting from adjusting the service flow to the readiness of personnel and facilities," said Dwi. Furthermore, Dwi Ananda added, "We hope that the entire return process goes smoothly until the end, and serves as a good closure to the hajj pilgrimage journey of 2025."
