PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Branch Office, confirms the full readiness of Terminal 1C, which will begin operating comprehensively on 12 November 2025. This activation is part of efforts to enhance terminal services and capacity to support smooth flight operations at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
Terminal 1C had previously served a portion of Citilink’s domestic flights since 22 August 2025. Starting 12 November 2025, the terminal will handle all domestic flights of the airline, centralizing all Citilink departures and arrivals within a single terminal area.
This step is also aligned with the rebalancing policy implemented at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, which aims to distribute operational and service loads more evenly across terminals. Through this approach, each terminal can function optimally and provide a smoother and more convenient passenger journey.
As part of the service quality improvement, Terminal 1C now features a refreshed look that blends modern elements with traditional Indonesian touches. Its modern and distinctive interior design incorporates iconic Terminal 1 architectural elements—such as terracotta bricks and local ornaments—combined with updated spatial arrangements and the latest technology across various passenger service facilities.
Heru Karyadi, General Manager of the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Branch Office, explained that the full operation of Terminal 1C marks an important step in improving service quality for airport users. “Terminal 1C is now ready to serve all Citilink domestic flights in one centralized location. We view this not merely as an operational adjustment but as part of our commitment to delivering a more comfortable, seamless, and memorable travel experience for all passengers,” said Heru Karyadi.
He further added that the enhancements at Terminal 1C also reflect Soekarno-Hatta Airport’s dedication to providing modern facilities without losing Indonesia’s distinctive character. “The terminal’s design, which combines modern and traditional elements, not only enhances its visual appeal but also embodies the warmth of Indonesia—something we hope every passenger can feel as part of the unique identity of our airport,” he concluded.
PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Branch Office, ensures that all operational and service aspects at Terminal 1C are fully prepared to support smooth flight activities. The airport also urges passengers, especially those flying with Citilink, to pay attention to departure and arrival schedules in line with the service relocation to Terminal 1C starting 12 November 2025. This step is expected to support a smoother and more comfortable travel experience at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
